DMC ATLANTA SHOWS SUPPORT TO THE MOVEMBER FOUNDATION

Since 2010, DMC Atlanta, led by our Founder, Adam Dorfman, has supported the Movember Foundation by actively raising awareness and funds for the non-profit organization. At the start of November every year, our team members tuck their razors away, grow out their mustaches, and hit the ground running, sharing facts about men’s health and participating in various fundraising events.
The Movember Foundation opened its doors in 2003 and has raised roughly $837 million since. With a goal of reducing the number of men dying prematurely by 25% by 2030, it’s going to take all of us working together! Shining a spotlight on men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide, is the core agenda of the Movember Foundation. With everything we’ve faced since the start of the pandemic, it’s more important now than ever to show support for overall wellness, whether physical or mental.
We’re not all talk at DMC Atlanta, though! We did much more than share the facts this year. In fact, we hosted several fundraising events where members of our global community could come together to learn and donate.
Adam and his wife, Lara, hosted the 6th Annual Movember Dinner (minus 2020) in their beautiful home, where guests enjoyed food and drinks curated by Chef Jamie Adams of il Giallo and Jeff Banks of King Cube. They had a fantastic time supporting such a great cause and feel privileged to associate with individuals interested in bettering the world around them.
As a marketing and sales office, our team members at DMC Atlanta have the unique ability to control the number of sales they close. As an extra incentive to help motivate them throughout November, our Founder, Adam, dropped a challenge. He would donate $1 to the Movember Foundation for every product sold! Our people genuinely care about others, and this extra push was just what they needed to have a record-breaking sales month. Now, they have stacked pockets for the holidays and know that their efforts helped a worthy cause!
In total, DMC Atlanta raised $31,805 this past month! We surpassed last year’s earnings and could not be more proud of our community and ourselves. The Movember Foundation is such a deserving and needed organization whose aid is deep-felt. Sadly, most men don’t start taking their health seriously until it’s too late.
