To say that the past couple of months have been a whirlwind would be an understatement. Our business, though, has withstood the challenges accompanied by the COVID-19 pandemic with resilience and grace. Today, we are excited to shine some light on an accolade we recently won and announce that DMC Atlanta has been named a 2020 Best & Brightest Company to Work for! This news could not have come at a better time. The work we put in isn’t for validation or trophies, but we can testify firsthand how great it feels to know that others recognize our hard work. This award means so much to our team because it shows us that success is more than numbers, it’s about people.
The Best & Brightest Companies to Work for award “recognizes companies that deliver exceptional Human Resource practices and an impressive commitment to their employees.” At DMC Atlanta, we are committed to the growth and development of our people. Our commitment is what we attribute earning this recognition for eight years running to. Times have been trying lately, but it’s been the cumulative efforts of our team that has fueled us forward. Without great people, we would be nothing, and we are grateful that this ideology is being praised in our community.
As mentioned earlier, recognition is not something we seek out. However, we are fans of any organization that works to uplift and recognize companies going above and beyond for their team members. Behavior is a learned trait, and by pushing these types of businesses to the forefront, we are showing what success looks like in 2020: it is working with integrity and being people-focused. We were recognized among 100 other influential businesses and look to our fellow recipients when we need to strengthen our systems.
It’s been an honor holding this title since 2013. Our people always have and will continue to come first here at DMC Atlanta, so we plan to continue earning this recognition for years to come. But for now, we want to take this time to say thank you to everyone that has positively impacted our business. Thanks to all of your hard work and loyalty, we have been able to thrive. We are a people helping people business, and we are thankful that in today’s world, this is a corporate culture that is celebrated and revered.
