At DMC Atlanta, we believe that our efforts matter. Whether it is the amount of work we put in at the office or the reach that we have within our community, our actions make an impact on ourselves and others. Philanthropy is at our core and is something that we not only enjoy doing but are passionate about.

Being a helping hand is ingrained into all of our employees and is a topic of discussion within our Management Development Program. With their people-first attitudes, our team members are developing into authentic and caring leaders who will always go the extra mile for others, including those in their community and beyond.
Our DMC Atlanta family actively supports three organizations – The Movember Foundation, LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, and Songs For Kids Foundation. They each are making an impact, and we are heartfelt when we say that it is a privilege to lend them our support. After reading up on each of these, we hope that you will be inspired to take up the torch, reach out, and be a part of our helping community!
The Movember Foundation
The Movember Foundation is the brainchild of Travis Garone and Luke Slattery. After meeting for a drink in 2003, they decided that they had the power to do two things – raise money and awareness for men’s health and bring back the mustache! Men are dying on average five years earlier than women and mostly from preventable illnesses. Their goal is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25% by 2030. LifeSouth Community Blood Centers
LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is a non-profit blood bank serving more than 125 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. With a mission to provide a safe blood supply that meets or exceeds a community’s needs, they are doing admirable work! We love living in Georgia, and there are no words to describe how thankful we are to this organization for making sure our hospitals are stocked with blood even through a national shortage.
Songs For Kids Foundation
The Songs For Kids Foundation provides mentorship and interactive programs for kids and young adults with illnesses, injuries, and disabilities. Headquartered here in Atlanta, this organization has uplifted and inspired kids throughout the United States since 2007. There is power in music, and it’s been a joy to help them raise the funds and awareness needed to continue making such a significant impact!
