Kaelyn hails from a family with roots on both coasts, having lived in San Francisco, CA, and later in Atlanta, GA. Her athletic prowess earned her a rowing scholarship at the University of Tennessee, where she achieved significant accolades, including two conference championships and an NCAA appearance. These experiences taught her invaluable lessons in teamwork, leadership, and perseverance, which she now brings to her role at DMC Atlanta.
In her personal life, Kaelyn is inspired by her family, especially her husband, Chris, who she describes as her rock. She also draws inspiration from remarkable leaders and boundary-pushers like Mia Hamm, Pat Summitt, and Jane Goodall. These influences shape her approach to leadership and motivate her to continuously do better.
Before joining DMC Atlanta, Kaelyn’s career path was diverse and enriching. Her stint at the Walt Disney College Internship at Disneyland was a pivotal experience that shaped her professional journey. After that, she ventured into outside sales, which eventually led her to recruiting. This blend of sales and recruiting experience, coupled with her strong leadership skills, makes her a perfect fit for her role as HR Operations Manager.
At DMC Atlanta, Kaelyn oversees and streamlines our recruiting, hiring, and operations processes. She is also deeply involved in coaching and developing our teammates, helping them achieve their performance and leadership goals. Her empathetic leadership style and ability to connect with and inspire her team are qualities that set her apart. Kaelyn is not just a leader; she is a mentor and a cheerleader for her team, always encouraging them to reach their fullest potential.
